THE VERDICT
Acro Suites is not simply somewhere to stay. It is a place designed for being together. Built into the cliffs above the Cretan Sea, the resort feels secluded, sensual and completely removed from everyday life. Private pools, raw stone, uninterrupted sea views and the constant sound of the waves create an atmosphere made for honeymoons, anniversaries, proposals and falling in love all over again. There are no children, very little noise and no pressure to do anything at all. You come here for each other.

THE SETTING
Acro Suites sits high above Mononaftis Bay in Agia Pelagia, with the Cretan landscape on one side and the open sea on the other.
The resort has been designed using stone, wood and natural materials that allow it to feel embedded in the cliffs rather than placed on top of them.
A small beach lies nearby, but this is not a traditional beach holiday. Acro is for guests who are happy to remain within their own private world — swimming, resting, eating, talking and listening to the sea.

Dining is part of the wellbeing experience, with a focus on seasonal ingredients, Greek and Cretan flavours and meals served against the backdrop of the sea.
